Wisdom Is Profitable To Direct

Whatever you might have planned or set out to do in this new year, give wisdom a chance. Wisdom knows the best path to tread, when, how, and with whom. Many ideas and suggestions might come from people around you who meant well to you and those who did not in disguise. No matter how intelligent and good intentions their advice might sound, if it is not what the wisdom says (word of God), your efforts will require much strength with either little, undesired or no result. And that will be the case of the ax that is dull which, the edge is not sharpened, that will require so much strength, but wisdom is profitable to direct, that is, wisdom knows the wise way to get things done and bring you to success to the glory of God. Proverbs 4:7 emphasizes, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”

Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed. (Proverbs 16:3) AMPC version

Remember Proverbs 3:5-8 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Even when you have acknowledged God regarding your intention, there is nothing wrong with asking God for confirmation to be sure He is the One leading you; Gideon did that as well (See Judges 6:33-40) and so others. 

 I pray that the Lord will guide your steps this year and establish and settle you in the name of Jesus.

I pray you will not be manipulated or bewitched in the name of Jesus.
