Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?” Psalms 24:3

The above Bible verse asks a vital question that is personal for everyone to answer individually.

See the picture of the hill of the Lord in Hebrews 12:22-24, “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels. To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect. And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”

So, who shall go up into the hill/mountain of the Lord described in Hebrews 12:22-24? Psalms 24:4 provides the answer, which is clear, specific, and concise. “He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.” It is the will of God for you to end up at His hill, but the question to answer is, does Psalms 24:4 describe you? If not, you can still make it right now, confess your sins and repent, and forgiveness of the Lord is yours according to 1 John 1:9 and Proverbs 28:13.

Once you have confessed and repented of your sins, let not your heart condemn you from fellowshipping, praying, and talking to the Lord; see 1 John 3:20-21. Instead, practice Hebrews 4:16 always, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
